William Vlach’s literary historical novel, The Golden Chalice of Hunahpu, will come out in paperback this Fall (Full Court Press) His poetry has been published in the United States (A.C.M., RUAH, Poetry USA), and the U.K. (Psychopoetica). His playwriting (The San Francisco Bay Guardian) and parody (The Faux Faulkner Contest, Bad Hammett Contest) have won writing awards. He has published essays on genocide in Guatemala and Darfur as well as the history of health care ethics. The volume Violence: Mercurial Gestalt published his research on police psychology. He has served on the Steering Group of Oxford University’s Cultures of Violence Project. He continues his clinical practice in San Francisco and is completing a literary historical novel of the Greek speaking peoples entitled, The Naked Greek. His twitter address is @vbvlach.
